GeoNetSee
An AI/IoT-based system of geosensor networks for real-time monitoring of unstable terrain and artificial structures, co-funded by the European Union.
A geosensor network for the Danube region
GeoNetSee will create a solution for monitoring unstable terrain and artificial structures, with a geosensor network and a platform for collecting, processing and visualising data in real time.
The platform, called the Danube Collaborative Center (DCC), will share all collected data, research findings, best practices and expertise across disciplines, and foster collaboration with similar EU organisations.
The system will be tested in laboratory and operational environments, with 3 countries as pilot sites and 6 as testing sites. It includes permanent CORS stations in Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia & Herzegovina, joining the European Plate Observing System (EPOS) and the EUREF Permanent GNSS Network (EPN).
